The smell of fresh dew, the low lying fog hugging the fields - the calm. It was so incredibly beautiful.
Then that light, that warm red glow of sunrise, Shan & Brady were just wrapped in it. It really was something else. One nice thing about the sunrise is we never had to worry about losing light, I mean I love blue hour but watching the way the light changed, from warm reds to golden yellows. I’m just so in love!
This wedding had my heart from he beginning. Before the gown was chosen, before the flowers were picked I felt so honoured and humbled to be a part of their special day. Kayla and Dylan hold such a special place in heart and I was extremely grateful that they trusted me to document all the special moments for them.

We met up again in October for their engagement session. Megan wanted a place that reminded her of them and their life together. Their life together is in Saskatoon and Megan loves the areas around our beautiful riverbank, so choosing an area that was both natural yet showed off the city was important.

I saw the eyes that looked up towards me, the ladies in the room that were there to listen to what I had to say. It calmed me. I felt trust. For me, trust has been hard to come by over the years and it felt so good. These ladies were here for me. Never in my dreams did I think I would be doing this. Even last year at this time, it was only a thought and never an actual plan.
